Originally from Belfast, Laura attended Sullivan Upper School in Holywood before moving on to study law at Queen’s University Belfast. After graduating with a 2:1 in 2014, she began her studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies before qualifying as a Solicitor with Distinction in 2016. This was also the year she joined Murlands as an Associate Solicitor, where she has proven an integral part of the team.
During her time in the practice, Laura has developed her expertise in the family, matrimonial and litigation departments. She has a particular interest in contact and residence disputes, public law family matters and in plaintiff personal injury litigation. Laura prides herself on her ability to deal with any sensitive matters discretely, whilst working efficiently and effectively to meet the best interests of her clients.
Outside the office, Laura can be found surfing off the West Coast of Ireland and practising yoga. Weekends off are often enjoyed visiting her two sisters in London.
