Originally from Belfast, Aidan was educated at St Patrick’s College, Armagh between 1977 and 1984. Aidan then studied Law at Queen’s University, Belfast, graduating in 1988. In 1990 Aidan was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland having completed his Professional Qualifications at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast.

Having taken a year off to pursue sporting and travel interests Aidan joined Murlands in 1991, becoming a Partner in 2001.

Aidan’s areas of specialisation are High Court and County Court litigation including, but not limited to, representing both Defendants and Plaintiffs in Road Traffic accident claims. Aidan also has a substantial Matrimonial Practice encompassing Divorce and Ancillary Relief (financial settlements).

In his spare time Aidan remains an enthusiastic sports participant and spectator. In recent years the competitive outlet has been Masters gaelic football and basketball but now increasingly includes golf and Saturday morning 5k Parkruns. Aidan is also a keen follower of Ulster and Ireland rugby.
