Raised locally in the village of Saintfield, Sarah attended Down High School in Downpatrick. She went on to study law at Queen’s University Belfast where she obtained a 2:1 degree in 2008.

Post graduation, Sarah undertook her Apprenticeship at Murlands Solicitors, and was awarded her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies and admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2010.

She became a Partner in the firm in 2021.

Sarah leads the Commercial Property team in Murlands, with expertise in development acquisition and sales, land transfers, refinancing and security work, business sales, and she is particularly experienced in commercial lettings. She also regularly deals with all forms of residential conveyancing. In addition, Sarah also assists in the private client department and has wide experience in dealing with Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney and Administration of Estates.

As a member of the NI Company and Commercial Lawyers Group and NI Commercial Property Lawyers Association, Sarah’s knowledge and experience continues to prove invaluable to the firm. She also serves on the Remuneration Panel of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys her role as Musical Director in her church. Time at home is spent crafting, reading, and spending quality time with her sons.
