Originally from Belfast, Fionnuala was educated at the Assumption Grammar School in Ballynahinch before completing her law degree at Queen’s University Belfast where she graduated with a 2:1 in 1986.

Fionnuala began her legal career with an apprenticeship at a bustling litigation firm in Lurgan, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1989. Over the next 12 years, she honed her expertise in High Court Litigation, establishing herself as a dedicated and skilled professional in the field.

After taking a break to focus on raising her family, Fionnuala returned to the legal profession in 2006. Since then, she has worked in the litigation departments of several firms in Ballynahinch, Holywood, and Newtownards.

Fionnuala joined the litigation team in Murlands in December 2024. She prides herself on providing a highly efficient, pro-active and results-driven service backed by a wealth of knowledge and experience. She deals with all levels of the Court system in Northern Ireland, acting regularly with a wide variety of claims.

In her spare time Fionnuala enjoys travel ,walking, reading, and spending time with her family.
